Salary Grant

There will grant funding allocated to lead schools for each trainee depending on the subject of their ITT qualification.

It is important to note that grant funding is not available for apprentices employed in a school that is not part of a schools direct partnership.

Grant funding can apply to the following postgraduate teaching apprenticeships in the 2023/2024 academic year.

Physics, Mathematics, Computing, Chemistry

Geography,

Design and Technology, Biology

£6,000

English

For unfunded subjects at secondary or across primary, the school will employ the apprentice as an unqualified teacher and the levy funds the university delivered ITT qualification.
